Kayla Winters
Director
Kayla graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Martin University. She also holds a Child & Youth Care Certification at the Professional Level, the highest certification level in the field. With over 10 years' experience, Kayla has served in multiple leadership capacities, with early childhood compliance and regulatory affairs being her focus area. A journey that profoundly influenced her work in early childhood education and advocacy was when she traveled to Ghana to support youth and child workers through the Sustainable Connexions and OVC Connexions Programs. There she had the privilege of participating in the Read, Feed, and Lead program, which prepares 120 orphans and vulnerable children for school readiness. These experiences emphasized the transformative power of mentorship and equipping young populations with the necessary tools for lifelong learning. As a mother of two teenage girls, she finds joy in supporting her children’s academic and extracurricular pursuits.
